About the Author
Dr. David A. Sacks is a certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist who for more than 30 years was Director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Bellflower, California. A long-standing contributor to the medical community and many professional organizations, Dr. Sacks received the 2008 Norbert Freinkel Award from the Council on Pregnancy and Womens Reproductive Health of the American Diabetes Association.
