About the Author
Sian Keegan is a textile designer and stuffed animal maker based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work can be found in shops in the U.S. and abroad and online at http://sian.etsy.com. All her pieces are made from vintage and found fabrics. She is best known for her 3D Pet Portraits, a custom-made stuffed animal based on pet owners’ dogs and cats. Sian has been making stuffed animals since she launched her business in 2007 at Brooklyn’s annual Renegade Craft Fair. She has taught popular classes at Lena Corwin’s Fort Greene studio, in which students of various skill levels are shown how to make the stuffed animal of their choice.
