Ruth Field is a lawyer and a passionate runner who, while pregnant with twins and under doctor’s orders not to run, decided to write Get Off Your Ass and Run as an outlet for her frustration. She lives in North London with her husband and twin sons. She has a running column in the Irish Times and has contributed to the Evening Standard. She has also been featured in The Times, The Bookseller, and Closer magazine, among others.
