What is your favorite family story?
Our old dog once ate an entire chocolate birthday cake...and he didn't die!

What fictional character would you like to be your friend, and why?
Hobbes, from Calvin & Hobbes. Because who wouldn't want a stuffed tiger as a best friend?

Describe your most memorable teacher.
Mr. Cusumano. He was our high school English teacher and taught this cool course on science fiction. He was also Jenni's debate coach (and boy, does she know how to debate now because of him!).

What is your favorite literary first line?
"It was a dark and stormy night." From an old Peanuts comic strip (Snoopy's trying to write a novel).

Do you read the Sunday funnies, and which are your favorites?
We fought over the funnies. Our favorites were Peanuts, Calvin & Hobbes, and Bloom County.

What is your favorite breakfast cereal?
Matt likes Cheerios and Jenni hates breakfast cereal, although she loves bagels.

What is your idea of bliss?
A plate of cupcakes and a stack of comic books.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Older. Although, one of our brothers wanted to be a garbageman because of the cool trucks.

Tell us about your pets.
Jenni has an annoying cat named Princess Leia Organa who likes to roll in the litter box (gross!) and Matt has a ferret with an unpronounceable Finnish name.

What's your favorite holiday and why?
Halloween. You can be anything you want to be. Not to mention, all that CANDY!
