Best remembered for his development of the geodesic dome (created by Carl Zeiss), Buckminster Fuller's research and interests ranged from architecture to energy, auto design to philosophy, geometry to poetry. The consummate generalist, Fuller died in 1983, leaving behind a remarkable legacy. Through a local collector, Powell's has acquired a significant collection of books by and about Fuller.
