Collated complete with 25 maps (7 folding), 19 chromolithographs, 34 illustrations, 2 twocolor chromolithographs. Statistics in this publication were taken from the 11th US Census,
performed in 1890; many of these records burned in a 1921 fire at the Department of
Commerce where they were stored.
Condition:
Binding worn, hinges broken. Water damage to rear board; 2.5 of rear hinge broken at head. Textblock shaken; several signatures & maps out of binding. While the binding is in poor condition, the contents overall remain good.
